I recently purchased a LG VX8600 (verizon) cell phone from craigslist and when i went to activate it, they said it had a past due balance. I am at a loss of what to do now.can anyone tell me if that line can be transferred to another phone? what options do i have?

Not much you can do, Verizon has blocked the phones ESN#
Only thing you can hope for is that the person that sold it to you pays his balance, deactivates the phone and clears the ESN# so you can activated it. Short of that, nothing you can do but hope that the person that sold it to you will refund you. You could take him to small claims court but that doesn%26#39;t mean you would get your money back Goto :-phonesunlocked2004 do it, do it now!!
