First off, which do you think is better, Verizon or Alltel? I%26#39;m looking for great reception (everywhere) Oh and my next question: I want to buy a Black RAZr V3m but Alltel doesn%26#39;t carry them. So, can I buy one like off eBay and bring it into my Alltel store? Can they still use it in the Family Plan?

Alltel is absolutely, without a doubt, the worst wireless carrier I have ever had the displeasure of using. I have had more dropped calls with Alltel in 6 months than I had with Cingular in 5 years. It would be hard for Verizon to suck as bad as Alltel. Take it for what it%26#39;s worth. I LOVE my alltel service. I seem to get reception everywhere, except for very few places. Verizon offers a lot too, and may have even more coverage, but I had Verizon wireless broadband and the reception sucked on it. ohh no verizon is wayyyyy better the alltel. Also check out http://www.cellphonesmarket.com/viewforu... ,you can find V3m for FREE. Have fun Well Altell and Verizon are both CDMA networks so their phones are compatable. However if you take a phone from one network to another you will need to purchase an un-lock code off the internet. To find this search in yahoo the name of your phone and unlock code and you should find someone selling one. As for the better service I would look at their service maps and look at where you will be using the phone the most. Don%26#39;t go on someone just saying this one or that is better take a look at those service maps. I know for a fact that on the Verizon one you can even zoom in at the street level and check it out. Good Luck
