On the sidekck id do u have to have a sidekick data plan like with the sidekick 3?

You can get the plan if you want. If you don%26#39;t add the sidekick plan you just can%26#39;t go online and get unlimited texting but you can still use the sidekick id. The sidekick plan is 19.99 and you can added to sidekick 3 or ID, its the same thing. yes you still have to hava a data plan
