Phone radiation?

i hav a old samsung d600, have allways been on orange then changed to O2. and since i have my phone has been making sterio speakers etc chatter all the time from metres away even

. is this phone going to be the death of me?

Answer:

The simple answer is the O2 and Orange network work on different frequencies. Orange on 1800Mhz and O2 on 900Mhz, it is probably the different frequency that is the cause of the "speaker chirping" which incidentally is the phone performing location update messages with the network so it knows where to send any calls to you, or activity such as texts and calls.

Mobile phones work on radio waves so there is some electromagnetic radiation, but every single electrical appliance emits some, TV%26#39;s, Radios, Microwave Ovens, Computers. never mind that what about wireless internet - what can that do?? Your ear will probably fall off with radiation. lol that is odd, it will not be the death of you but i would take it into where you got it and tell them what is wrong, it could be a serious thing that could ruin the phone Hello,

(ANS) OK! personally I don%26#39;t like mobile phones (although I have one that I was given, its very old %26 terribly unfashionable). And I use them as little as possible, which is almost never.

Back to your question, all the scientific %26 radiological research into the potential health dangers associated with mobile phone use is inconclusive. The current recommendations from scientists is to limit mobile phone use to very short phone calls. To limit active phone use %26 contact with the skull as much as possible.
