I have a Verizon LG phone and every time I receive a picture message, I go to view it and my phone freezes. I always have to take out the battery to shut it off. How do I view my pictures without my phone freezing?
This is not an answer, but I have the same issue! Exactly! I have an LG VX5300 and when I receive pic msg%26#39;s, my phone freezes when I try to view them. Any help?

out that week and it comes with a cancer horoscope. I NEVER signed up for any of this and we even tried switching my phone number, and i STILL got texted!! We deal with getting the money taken off our cingular bill each month and they are so unhelpful when it comes to this... any suggestions on how to make it stop or how to make cingular make it stop?!?!?!?!? PLEASE
you have do 2 things
1. Reply with STOP
2. Also call the customer care and find out that companies number and call them also It happened to me too. Just reply stop . it worked for me.

My phone was in my friends pocket and she fell in the creek, getting both of our phones wet but they weren%26#39;t completely submerged. What is the best way to get water out so that the phone will work? Does rice really work (it supposedly absorbs all of the water)?
HURRY! take out the batterie, and leave it out for 1 to 2 days this will keep it form leeking and making the phone unusabel, after that, let the ohone air dry for a while take out the battery and wrap it up in a think towel.
and as for the phone, blow dry it. (sounds silly but worked for me.) then wrap it up in a separate towel as the battery. Rice would most likely not work. One time I was drinking water and it fell on my computer, and I put it outside to dry. What you should do is put your phones, on a table, or something outside, where the sun can reach it. I suggust leaving it about 1-3 hours (depending on how wet it is) on the side with the keypad, and the screen, and another 1-3 hours on the back of the phone. I hope that this has helped! take it apart and put in a warm dry place such as the hot water cupbaord,(not the oven) or try a hairdryer LOL I%26#39;ve never heard anything about rice! I%26#39;ve done the same thing and my phone still works perfect! All I did was took it completely apart! Be careful not to touch the computer part of your phone! Lay it all out separately on a piece of paper towel and let it dry for a few hours. When you take it apart you%26#39;ll be able to see the wet parts, do not try to pat them dry with anything or wipe them down, just lay them there to air dry... after a couple hours put it back together and turn it on... it might act kinda funny the first few hours after that you should be good to go.
i had my razor in the bathroom with my while i was taking a shower. i got out and started playing with it and it froze. none of the buttons will work, nor the the side buttons. i press the end button then another button(doesn%26#39;t matter which one) and a 7 comes up and it starts calling my dad!

you probably have moisture build up, inside of the phone causing corrosion and thus the phone is starting to fail, i would try airing the phone and probably using a blow dry on it for several minutes, if u take out ur battery and their is a red dot on the back of the phone chances are u will need another phone, oops sorry. remove the battey and wait a few minutes then try starting it again This will sound silly, but it is very possible that your phone may have a virus. I know that antivir offers free virus scanning for phones, check them out. Try putting into flash mode...press and hold the * # and power button all at the same time until you see text come up on the screen. If you get the text on the screen, pull the battery out, press the power button three or four times to discharge the phone completely and then try the battery again and hold the power button for 8 seconds or until the blue in the kaypad gives a slight flash dim then bright...good luck! I think you might have used ur phone on a rainy day or may be the place where u live is to humid and the phone has absorbed some moisture through the buttons.
This use to happen with my Nokia 3300.
The best way is to take out battery and sim. Than you dry it with a fan. don%26#39;t use hair dryer. Most people don%26#39;t realize that the steam that is produced in the bathroom during a shower acts as water damage and is actually more common then dropping your phone in a puddle or toilet. Take the battery out for about two hours then put it back in. If the trouble continues see your wireless carrier.

I went to a shop to get mine unlocked for ￡5. It was better than sitting looking at a blank screen. is this stolen phone? if the code has not been changed since you got it its the last four digits of your phone number. My phone is constantly having problems and honestly the best thing to do is to call up the phone company, for example orange. They will help you and talk you through what you need to do. =) Try taking the battery out and leaving it out for a minute. If it is still locked after that, take it to the place where you got it, they may know how to unlock it. If you mean a PIN code when you switch it on then after you have entered it incorrectly a few times it will lock down further and request a PUK code. This is ONLY obtainable from your service provider, call customer services.

I have Cingular, and when that happened to me and my phone would only let me make emergency calls, I took it to their local store and the only problem with it was that the memeory card was busted, and the guy said that only usually happens when someone messes with the security system of the phone. mail me your imei no.
