Nbokia 3100 connectivity problems, help!!?

Im having problems while connecting my nokia to my pc, i have just downloaded the latese version of pc suite (6.8 i think) and im using an CA-53 cable. When i connect my phone it appears an notification which says "usb dvice not reckognized" what shall I do help me im getting mad

So it will not work.

First you have to install the driver for Cable(come with cables Cd) so usb dvice will be recognized.

after that if you have connectivity problem with pc Suite.

I will recommand for your phone to use MobiMB

you can download that software from source(s) list. try downloading the drivers for that particular phone. nokia.com has a support download.u should find it there Probably some of the system files on your phone might have gone corrupt. To fix this you have to reset your phone to factory settings and try to connect again. You are not going to loose your phone book in doing this so don%26#39;t worry. Only the factory settings will be restored. If this does not work then you will have to go for a format of phone where all your data on the phone will be lost permanently. Punch *#7780# on the keypad and if you are prompted to insert lock code then write 12345 which is the default lock code for nokia phones. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I think this should help setting up your phone like new.
