Need a convincing lie for my mobile insurance?

My crappy insurance doesn%26#39;t cover theft even though I pay them £8 per month. I need to phone the police and get a crime number but being an honest sort can%26#39;t think of a good story. Can someone help?

Answer:

say that u seen someone drowning and you ran and jumped in the water and saved them but your phone was lost or broken wile doin it If it doesn%26#39;t cover theft, how are you going to get help from a police crime number?

Why not just go out and buy a new phone?! So someone committed a crime and nicked your phone. Now you are gonna commit another crime by lying to and defrauding your insurance company, and now there are two criminals. well 911 is always free on a cellphone.. even if the service is shut off You shouldn%26#39;t lie. You are the reason premiums are so high. It%26#39;s your own fault for not covering yourself for all instances! don%26#39;t lie, your integrity is worth more than the phone. Learn from this and move on, next time get a cheap pay-as-you go without insurance and dont leave your phone where it%26#39;s likely to be admired by thieves!....having said that...and read your question again, most companies DO cover LOSS, but as you have already lied and said it was stollen you wont be able to back up on the claim. In my job I get lots of people declaring that they have been robbed, and usually it turns out they actually lost or mislaid the items
