Nokia 2160 mobile phone?

Can anybody help with a small problem with my new Nokia 2160 mobile phone After making a call or sending a text message the phone returns to its normal display page which is nice and bright like a TV screen but after a minute or so the display page goes dark and difficult to see If I then press the menue button the light comes back on and I can again see the display page as normal What do I need to do to keep the display page light on all the time

This is the default action of nokia phones now. It saves the battery Its your power saving function in settings. You%26#39;d have to adjust backlight time duration. s
