They always say you are to turn them off in these places. I%26#39;ve seen them chase someone to get it turned off...do these devices really interrupt equipment or do they just don%26#39;t want to have them ringing, or people walking around talking all the time. If I have mine on vibrate they don%26#39;t know it%26#39;s there but it%26#39;s not turned off. So, what%26#39;s the real deal?

Yes the device realy get a effect from the mobile device because mobiles use radio waves and it can interupt and on going -ray, cardiogram or any other machine in the hospital, and also the talk on the mobile and it ringtones all polute soundaly the hospital. $ well in hospitals cell phones to interrupt with sensitive equipment, seen this first hand.. in other places it is recommended u dnt disturb the docs or the patients, imagine a hospital with hundred ppl all with cell phones ringing.
