On tracfone, what does a single rate cell phone mean?

I want the motorola C261. :) I want a prepaid service thing and I want a camera phone.

Answer:

it means one unit for all calls roaming and domestic

i would not reccomend a tracfone though. you pay .33 cents per minute and when you put in the year card for $100, you get 400 minutes and pay .25 cents.

get a t mobile. if you buy the $100 card you pay 10 cents per minute and you get 1000 minutes get the details from the site www.mobiledownloads4u.com It%26#39;s actually something good. What single rate means is that when you are roaming, or I think when making an int%26#39;l call, it only costs 1 unit per minute of talk time.

Some phones, when they roam, cost 2 mins. Single rate means: anywhere in the coverage area you pay the same rate. Tracfone used to have models with a %26#39;local calling area%26#39; (1 unit per minute) and a %26#39;roaming area%26#39; (2 units per minute). Single rate is always 1 unit per minute. Now they also have international calling (i.e. from the USA to outside of the USA - your tracfone will not work in Europe) for 1 unit per minute.

My sister also has that motorola with camera, she loves it.

She recently got 530 minutes for $40.
