I charged it all night last night, and then in the morning i made one (less then 3 mins) phone call, and i sent to txt messages. And then by noon by phone said that the battery was empty!
What can i do to save battery life without getting a new extended batter!
ps. i bought the phone online so i dont think im alowed to use my warrenty on it!
Answer:
i have read somewhere here on the net, that you can teach the battery to hold a longer charge..from what i understand you need to completely kill the battery to where the phone won%26#39;t stay powered on, then charge it. repeat the procedure until the battery comes back to life...this technique is referred to as battery memory..as someone else mentioned you can also kill the blue tooth option to save battery power..hope this helps. my husband has that problem with his razr. What they dont tell you when you buy the phone is that there is a more powerful battery you can buy.the one it comes with is junk. They charge you 300 dollars for the stupid phone and then you gotta go buy a better battery, a total rip off. i think freezing the battery helps, look it up DO NOT TRY IT WITHOUT DIRECTIONS FIRST! I had the same problem. I would charge it at night then in the morning I would have to charge it again after a very short phone call. I replaced batteries 3 times and finally bought the larger battery for it. So far I have not had to charge it but about every 2-3 days. I use my bluetooth constantly when I talk, which drains the battery, and this battery is working great for me. If you use a bluetooth, disconnect when not talking since it will still use battery. i have a razr v3m from sprint. and my battery life is just terrible. i also have a lot of experience in the field of electronics and cell phones, and can tell you that the memory thing is bogus when you%26#39;re using lithium ion batteries (which is what the razr has). these batteries won%26#39;t develop a charge memory, and they are not succeptible to overcharge. what works best is to turn off all the features on your phone you don%26#39;t use (i.e. location, bluetooth) and set your phone to only seek its network. not to seek out its roaming partners. also, when the phone is in a spot where it gets no service, turn it off. when your phone gets no service it works harder trying to seek it. give that a whirl, and good luck!
