Privacy?

I just relized theres phone out there that can track you [thanks to the yahoo article.] I mean what if oyu told your mom you were going to your friends house but you made a detour to stop and get you mom a present. Then she came to find you? Whats the point of the word privacy anymore? How do you feel about it?

Answer:

I don%26#39;t think there is anything wrong with knowing where you child is, but tracking is a problem. At some point in time you have to trust your kid...and if you don%26#39;t, then don%26#39;t let them out. Being sneaky is bad parenting. It only leads to distrust and lack of respect. Kids will find other ways to get around it. For example, leave the phone at home or leave it in the car and go in someone else%26#39;s car. Privacy is becoming less and less for the whole world now a days.

They even want to start putting microchips in babies!

http://moo7.net/ Are you talking about the Verizon Chaperone phones? Yeah I think it%26#39;s a little rude too. just like George Orwell said; the republicans are becoming the new-world socialists.and they don%26#39;t even realise it I feel like there are still a lot of different ways to maintain privacy although, sadly, they require a bit of extra work. For example, in your case you can request phones that don%26#39;t have the GPS device in them or (I think this is illegal) go have the device blocked. Read the book 1984.it will tell you everything that is going to happen in the future with regards to privacy (or lack of). Spot on for a work of fiction...
