Number Port?

I am porting my cell number from Verizon to Helio. I am aware of the time it can take but the rep at the store told me that when my old phone stopped working my new one would work. Well my old phone stopped working and my new phone still does not work. My Verizon account has been cancelled and now I have no phone. Does the rep have to do something to my new phone in order for it to work?

when i got my new phone in the mail i had to call a number and put in a load of codes and then i worked maby it is the same call helio%26#39;s customer support and see wat they say Other than programming your new phone? No. It%26#39;s probably Helio%26#39;s problem. Try dialing *22899 %26lt;send%26gt; and see if it programs.
