I%26#39;ve got a Nokia N73 (wish I hadn%26#39;t...!), it%26#39;s already been sent away for a software upgrade to solve the freezing and long message sending times, now 2 months later, and it%26#39;s not letting me send text messages!
I%26#39;ve checked the message centre number against what is on the O2 website, still no joy. The error message under %26#39;details%26#39; when the texts fail is "memory full. Close some applications and try again". I%26#39;ve deleted loads of stuff off my fone and memory card, and there are no other applications open but it%26#39;s still not working.
Can anyone help? I really don%26#39;t want to have to go to the phone shop and be treated like an idiot!
Answer:
Call your network company, they can send all the relevant settings down to you.Not only that you may have a faulty menu which they can also update.I work for t-mobile and that is one of my jobs. Also don%26#39;t forget the handset is still under manufacturers guarantee they are legally obliged to off you a replacement.Hope this helps Have you tried your sim card on a different phone besides Nokia N73? If you havent then you should because it happened to mine and i tried switching sim cards and put it on another phone and it still wont let me send a text message or anything. If that%26#39;s the case then you%26#39;ll have to get a new sim card if you%26#39;re a tmobile or cingular provider, if not then im not quite sure what the problem is. give your phone a master reset How many texts have you got stored on it? You may have to delete some of your messages from your sent items, inbox or drafts. By the way on the Nokia website there is an application called SMS Accelerator that sorts the long send times on N73 N80 N81 and most of the N series.
